Session 2 Recap: Kyle Public Library Adult Game
In the dark places beneath the earth, the adventurers sought an exit into the sunlight. As they explored the tunnels with little in the way of food or light, a strange sighting: tiled floor. Evidence of habitation and alteration lead to the inevitable conclusion: some magic turned these caves into a home for someone…or something.
As Gentle River explored a collapsed alcove, she was confronted by a horror: a floating orb of skin and muscle with an enormous central eye. From the sides of its head sprouted eyes on long stalks, and from its mouth it spewed insanity. “Why won’t you ANSWER?!?” The creature attacked with magic from its eyes, blasts of energy and confusing spells; in its madness it lashed out at anything nearby. Working together, the adventurers killed the best, only to find they are not alone. A shadowy figure joined their battle, and spoke to them afterward.
His name was Hadari, an elven scout separated from his unit. He knew his way around the tunnels and agreed to help. He also told the adventurers the name of this alien place: the Undercrypt of Sunless Horror. The beholder that created the complex abandoned it long ago, but its experiments still roamed the halls. No doubt they would offer dangers aplenty as the adventurers attempt to return to the surface.

“When I first saw the beast, my blood froze. It was a thing from nightmares made flesh. And now this stranger, Hadari, says there may be more such creatures stalking these tunnels. Sleep will not come easily.” –Krend
